13 Reasons Why

The series follows the life of dead Hannah Baker who committed suicide while in High School. Through splitting her hands in a bathtub, she slowly succumbs to her death as she loses much blood in the already flooded bathtub. She leaves her new founded boyfriend in trauma who takes a long time to take in the fact that he is now a single lad.

Life is meant to be normal after Hannah's death but not so. Her parents sues the school accusing it of leaving alone the students on their own to an extent of them taking their own lives. Hannah's mother is the most affected with the death of her only child that she goes deep down her pockets and spends every coin she finds on to get he daughter justice.


The post-Hannah life gets disrupted again when recorded tapes are circulated around the high school. In the tapes, Hannah explains 13 Reasons Why she took her own life. Each cassette, each episode, we are taken to Hannah's past life. We get to know this when Clay Johnson, her then boyfriend, listens to the tapes. She explains why her school, friends who bullied and raped her and even how her own boyfriend, Clay Johnson, got involved in driving her to killing herself.
